If one was to look at the part shown here there may arise a question as to how it was machined. There are two arcs with two tangent surfaces to machine. At first glance one may assume that apart like this was machined on a CNC milling machine and that is quite possible. However such a geometry can be machined on a manual milling machine with the aid of a rotary table attachment on a standard knee mill. |
