There may be a time when it will be necessary to tilt the angle of the head clockwise or counterclockwise as viewed from the side of the mill. Look at the picture of a part to the left. It has an angled surface and if it was necessary to machine along that surface with the end of an end mill the head of the milling machine would have to be tilted counterclockwise to accommodate this.

To rotate the mill head clockwise or counterclockwise as viewed from the side loosen the three bolts as shown. Crank the adjusting bolt, take note of the protractor, re-tighten the three bolts as shown
If you must move the head of a mill to a special angle, realize that the machine spindle will no longer be square to the table. Realigning the head square to the table can be a time consuming process (as discussed in this topic). If you move the head back to only an "approximate" square position you will do a disservice to anyone using the machine after you. Someone walking up to the machine may assume the spindle is square with the table... a big mistake. So help out your fellow machinists by - at best - realigning the head of the mill after taking it out of alignment or - at worst - leave the head of the machine obviously out of alignment so the next user will realize that they have to tram the head before beginning.
